You do not need to have any knowledge in the field, but in order to simulate a real flight, such as Otopeni – Sibiu or Vienna – Innsbruck and a few laps of the track, as well as all sorts of special procedures, such as turbulent flight, side wind, storm, night flight, engine failure etc. on an airport with a good visual, we recommend 2 sessions. For one hour-long session we can take a few laps of the track (of course with you at the stick) on a spectacular airport such as Innsbruck.
A simulator session consists of 30 minutes of briefing and one hour flying on the B 737NG simulator.
The briefing will take place as follows:
– we will discuss about any curiosity related to aviation
– we will explain the board
– we will enter into the computer the destination airport
– we will enter into the computer the weather conditions (storm, wind, turbulence)
– we will explain how to calculate the quantity of kerosene required to the destination airport
– we will go through the checklist
The cost of a simulator session is:
1) 100 euro (Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00)
2) 115 euros (Monday to Friday 17.00-21.30)
3) 130 euro (Saturday to Sunday)
The simulator is located in Pipera, Henri Coanda neighborhood.
